Experience
I have more than fifteen years of experience in translating, editing, copy-writing, and proofreading for modern and contemporary art museums, galleries, festivals, publishers, and artists worldwide. I translate from and to English, French, and German, and I write copy in each of these languages. I also offer subtitling services to film producers, distributors, museums, and artists.

Bio
I was born in Luxembourg in 1969. After graduation, I studied history in Paris but failed to obtain a degree. I went on to work as a barman and infrequent arts correspondent for local newspapers, which culminated in a report and an exhibition with photographer Martin Linster about artists under siege in Sarajevo in 1995. As part of the Manifesta 2 biennale in Luxembourg in 1998, I assisted various artists and worked as translator on the French edition of the catalogue. In parallel, I earned a living as a replacement teacher with a focus on physical education. In 1999 I enrolled with the Curatorial Training Programme at Stichting De Appel in Amsterdam, following which I was hired as project manager of the International Artists’ Residency Programme at Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin. During my tenure there, I acted as the co-curator of the New Zealand Pavilion at the 50th Venice Biennale in 2003 and curator of the Luxembourg Pavilion at the 51st Venice Biennale in 2005. Since 2006 I have been working full-time as a translator and editor, while occasionally assisting on film productions.
